New Wood (Uusi puu) participated to Eco Expo Asia fair, held in Hong Kong on October 26th-29th 2023. The goal of the event was to promote innovative green solutions and technologies. Fold project demo samples were shown as part of the New wood exhibition arranged by the Consulate General of Finland at the European Pavilion. The aim of the presented exhibit was to present Finnish innovations and Finland’s role as an example country for green transition.

Fold project’s demo materials were shown amongst 9 other innovative solutions from Uusi puu selection. Folded packaging concepts from the Fold project raised interest during the fair, and our folded structures were seen as potential material also for interior, lighting or furniture industry.
