Fold2 partners are influential actors in the Finnish paperboard producing, package converting, abrasive paper and acoustic panel, as well as, brand owner value chain. In particular, they represent production of board, engineering, production machinery and packaging line, and finally utilisation of packages and products. The partners are committed to the targets of the Fold2 project and in longer term to contribute to the growth of Finnish export and green transition goals.

Orfer Oy, established in 1970, innovates, engineers and manufactures robotized material handling systems for various industry sectors. Orfer provide turnkey robot automation solutions for customers. Orfer’s experts design tailor-made automation solutions, mechanics, automation and control software and user interfaces for our customers. Orfer’s factories manufacture the automation modules from start to finish. The manufacturing process includes laser cutting, bending, machining, welding, painting, pre-assembly and the final assembly of the automation solutions. Our staffs automation expertise is our foundation for superior achievement. We use our own automation knowledge to improve our production. All equipment is delivered onsite once it is production ready and tested. Our committed customer service continues with customer training, maintenance and modernization services – enhancing and supporting the customers production.


Soften Oy was established in Turku in 2007. Since then, Soften has been pioneers in acoustic interior solutions both in Finland and abroad. Over the years, Soften has designed and manufactured acoustics products for private and public spaces that take into account both technical characteristics and interior design. Soften products have received the best acoustic classification: class A. Soften products have fire classification and M1-certification for low-emission building material. Soften has been awarded right to use Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu) and Design from Finland for all products.
