We are happy to announce that our keynote presentation will be given by Dr. Yves Klett, founder of Foldcore GmbH, the world leading company for folding and folded solutions.
Yves Klett first started designing technical tessellations for his diploma thesis in 2003 and has never stopped working on high-tech origami ever since. He got a PhD in origami aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart and until 2020 lead the sandwich research group at the Institute of Aircraft Design in Stuttgart. In 2005, he co-founded Foldcore GmbH as an outlet for industrial folding innovations. Since 2012 he is managing director at Foldcore with the mission to bring tons of tessellations to the world.
